We are still finalizing our Official Judges for 2013. The judging process involves input from our programmers, our Festival Directors, and most importantly, our Official Judges. Decisions from our Official Judges are weighted most heavily.
Scott Rosenfelt

Scott Rosenfelt is one of Hollywood's most successful independent producers. On the strength of such films as Smoke Signals, Home Alone, Mystic Pizza, Teen Wolf and Extremities, Scott has garnered international acclaim and recognition. Home Alone is one of the highest grossing films of all time, and has generated over $1 billion worldwide. Rosenfelt is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the arts.
Stephen Mazur

As a screenwriter, Steve has written for Universal, Dreamworks, Warner Bros., MGM, Imagine, Paramount, CBS, A&E, FX, SpikeTV, Sony, and Disney, including co-writing the screenplays for Heatbreakers (2001, MGM), Liar, Liar (Universal, 1997), and The Little Rascals (Universal, 1994), and writing the teleplays for The Crooked E (CBS, 2003) and Wedding Wars (A&E, 2006). He's taught screenwriting at AFI, USC, and UCLA Extension. Steve also served as a Deputy District Attorney for the County of Los Angeles.

Brad Wyman

Brad Wyman is an American film producer, best known for producing Monster (starring Charlize Theron). He just finished filming Normal Adolescent Behavior in Rhode Island, and has also finished Homo Erectus directed by Adam Rifkin, and Look with Barry Schuler. Wyman also produces a variety of webcasts under the WyTV banner, on Ustream.tv. These include Flesicher's Universe hosted by comedian Charles Fleischer, Those Video Guys On WyTV, Global SoulTV, Down The Rabbit Hole with Duchess Rebecca, and Sheen's Korner, hosted by Charlie Sheen.
Javier Prato

Javier's satirical short, "Jesus Christ: The Musical," also known as, "Jesus Will Survive," has been "viewed" more than 7.5 million times on YouTube. One of his most recently filmed shorts, "Empty Arms," was selected as one of the top 20 final videos in the competition,"YouTube Project Direct," which is helmed by award winning Director Jason Reitman. Javier's most recent and current project is the game-style film, "POV," which utilizes miniature cameras and the power of the Internet to bring interactivity into the story. He is also developing myfilm.net, a social networking site to help filmmakers launch their films online, as a way to increase their audiences. Javier was also a judge for the 2011 edition of the Webby Awards.
